House Cleaning Checklist

Are you looking for a girl or some company to help you with the cleaning of your home?

or do you think that the one you hired did not do a correct job?

There are always many reasons to know and we hope to clarify your doubts.

Well, here we explain what a lady or a company must include when you hire them.

Let’s clarify a little the difference in hiring a lady who works on her own to a company.

A lady is always going to do a more basic job, more like a light cleaning, why? Cleaning is a very difficult task and for a single person it becomes a nightmare but that does not mean they do a bad job. It’s usually a lot to finish in a few hours. but for a maintenance job it is basically the same cleaning checklist that must be done either a lady by itself or a company.

Something that you also have to consider is what kind of cleaning you are going to have or have had.

What do I mean by this?

There are several types of cleaning for the home and therefore are different house cleaning checklist, this applies more in a cleaning company.

Just to give you a couple of examples, “a deep cleaning” is very different from a “recurring cleaning” or a “move out cleaning” that’s why before calling a cleaning company or lady you have to know what kind of cleaning you need in your home, since it will be the first thing you will be asked and the house cleaning checklist is different for each type of cleaning and the cleaning prices are also different.

Cleaning Checklist for each type of cleaning:

This types of cleanings requires different types of checklist.

House Cleaning Checklist Overview & General Tips

  • Before you start going room to room, pause first to put on some great music.
  • Pick up clutter, and as you go, feel free to second-guess your belongings. The less you have, the less you have to put away.
  • Clean, and dust: scrutinize books, magazines, newspapers, DVDs, furniture, toys the kids have outgrown, old computers you’ve outgrown, old clothes and shoes in the closet.
  • Turn off light bulbs and ceiling fans as you go for the upcoming dusting work.
  • Closets, if you have any that you’re afraid to open, face your fears its time to minimize and organize.

I found an interesting video on how to keep your home clean and do your own cleaning checklist, in case you are interested:

Remember that a service of “regular basis” the main mission is to keep your home clean constantly, in other words do not let accumulate dirt as dust.

Example: Some companies concentrate one day on cleaning the kitchen and the living room, and another day in the rooms and bathrooms, this is for the purpose of constantly keeping the home clean. Not many companies clarify this, but it is important to me that our clients know this.
